- I used a GVC 14.4 for several years, and had absolutely *no* problems
- whatsoever, The June, 1995, issue of Byte ran a comparison of 32 28.8
- modem models, and rated the MaxTech (the manufacturer of the GVC model)
- as their Best Buy for modems under $400. Based on that and on my own
- experience with the GVC 14.4, several months ago I purchased a MaxTech
- 28.8 external, and again have had absolutely *no* problems with it. You
- might look at the Byte article for more information about their review.
